Hello, hello and welcome to the Basic Impressionism Course. It will be quick, with just the right amount of information for you to feel confident when you visit Musée d’Orsay of or any other museum filled with Impressionism, while you sightsee Paris, when you want to impress a date or amuse your friends at a cocktail party (or techno party, whatever you prefer). It should also be enough for high school students or anyone wanting general knowledge about the world.
The idea behind this course is simple. We will give you only the basics on what Impressionism was all about, what the first-league names were, add some gossip or interesting facts about them, and introduce you to the three most important masterpieces by each artist.
